Exhale

Prayer

Listen, my soul. To the breath that sustains you… God. Here I am… choosing to return this life to, point it in the direction of, You. You are life. You are the way. Reality flows from You. We find ourselves in You. So to You I give, and take. Give and take.

Holy Spirit of God. You are.

Jesus. You are.

Father, Abba. You are.

In all and through all, Love is. Far be it from me to choose to stop Your flow today. Sun up to sundown, activate my entire being for blissful participation in You.

Reading

Luke 17v12-19 (NIV)

As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”

When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

See this

Nine of the ten ‘took,’ but stopped the flow at ‘giving.’ They breathed in, but not out. Inhaled, but no exhale. Why?

Be still, then ask

Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit… show me how to exhale Your wonderful Love of healing in my life.
