Psalm 131: Be still my soul
This meditation is intended to take more than 30 seconds. Try walking through it as long as it takes to allow yourself to be laid down to rest like in Psalm 23:
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures…”
Breathe in while reading: “My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. O Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.”
Breathe out while praying: Thank you God.
